Ph.D. Graduates
The Department surveys alumni of the Ph.D. in psychological sciences each year to collect information about initial and current job placements. We compile survey results in five-year increments to increase the sample size and significance of the findings.
More than 99% of survey respondents* report working at a position related to their degree. They also report currently holding positions in the following areas:

Center for Career Readiness and Life Skills
The Center for Career Readiness and Life Skills offers resources tailored especially for graduate students and postdocs, including:
- Career development and career preparation events, such as seminars, career fairs, networking opportunities, and alumni career panels.
- Career coaching for help with résumés and CV critiques, practice interviews, and job searches in and outside of the academy.
- Resources for academic job searches.
- Career Readiness Modules available via HuskyCT.
- A career community for Doctoral Students.
