Application Deadline: Open Until Filled
-
- This is a paid position at the University of Minnesota with benefits. Salary commensurate with experience. Neuroscience and Society fields are rapidly expanding. From neuroethics and neurolaw, to neuroarchitecture and neuromarketing, neuroscience is increasingly being applied outside the lab and medicine. Yet the students, practitioners, and scholars who engage in neuroscience and society work are not representative along multiple demographic and cultural dimensions. To address this challenge, the Dana Foundation Career Network in Neuroscience & Society recruits new people, creates and communicates new opportunities, and connects people and opportunities to catalyze new careers. The Career Network is especially focused on reaching individuals, institutions and geographies that have not been previously active in neuroscience and society work. The Career Network Fellow will be mentored by Dr. Francis Shen, JD, PhD. The Fellow will support all aspects of the project, including creating virtual and in-person network events, extensive communication with neuroscience and society stakeholders, maintaining the Career Network website and our social media campaign, and co-leading a team of talented student research assistants.
Basic Qualifications:
- This is a post-baccalaureate or post-doctoral position.
- This is a full-time position. No part-time applicants will be considered for the Fellowship.
- Applicants must have completed either an undergraduate or graduate degree.
Additional Details:
- The start date for the Career Fellow position is Summer 2025, and applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
