Nathan Sanders
Academic Advisor
Psychological Sciences
Nathan is a driven higher education professional who is motivated to help students navigate their academic journey and make the most of their undergraduate experience.
He is a 2009 graduate of Salve Regina University, where he earned his B.A. in English-Literature. Following his undergraduate program, Nathan was a Peace Corps Volunteer, where his primary role was teaching ESL to students of all ages. He would go on to earn his M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration from Northeastern University in 2015.
This is Nathan’s second time around at UConn, having worked previously in UConn’s Office of Undergraduate Admissions. Prior to UConn, Nathan had the opportunity to work in admissions for Cheshire Academy – where his focus and experience was primarily in the international area – and his alma mater, Salve Regina University in beautiful Newport, RI. During his time in admissions, he most enjoyed the opportunity to advise students on the program options and outcome possibilities, helping students make their ultimate enrollment decision.
Nathan is a dedicated father and husband who enjoys spending his free time with family. He also enjoys reading, adventuring to new places on his motorcycle, and is an avid Boston sports fan!
