Editor/Reviewer for the Cambridge Journal of Human Behavior

The Cambridge Journal of Human Behavior (CJHB) is currently seeking new editors and reviewers to join our team! Please see the brief position descriptions below:

Positions:
– The Editor-in-chief is in charge of overseeing CJHB’s team of editors, reviewers, and other officers. They head the editorial board which is in charge of overseeing publications and making all high level decisions regarding the running of the journal. The deadline to apply for this position is August 16th.

– The Issue Production Designer is the final copy editor and is in charge of compiling, formatting, and typesetting each issue. The deadline to apply for this position is August 16th.

– Peer reviewers are tasked with reviewing submitted articles in a double-blind fashion. They are expected to read through the manuscripts, checking for factual accuracy, as well as proper grammar, punctuation, and overall clarity of writing.

– Associate editors are tasked with checking the reviews and comments of the two peer reviewers. Following the reviewer’s comments, associate editors are expected to come to a final verdict, sending back a decision letter with their own comments and revision suggestions to the author.


Individuals applying for any of the above positions must be in at least their second year of undergraduate study. The positions of peer reviewer and associate editor are open to current students as well as professionals. As we are a student-run journal, the position of editor-in-chief is reserved for current undergraduate and postgraduate students.
