Dr. Laplante’s research program lies at the intersection of developmental, cultural, and clinical psychology, investigating how meditation and mindfulness shape interpersonal interactions, from dyadic interactions to broader cultural and intergroup relations. Ultimately, this research aims to translate scientific insights into practical tools that foster individual well-being and more connected, compassionate communities.
