Emma is a compassionate and driven graduate student pursuing a Master of Social Work at the University of Connecticut, specializing in work with individuals, groups, and families. A proud 2023 UConn alum, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies.
Currently, Emma serves as a Graduate Assistant in Undergraduate Advising for UConn’s Department of Psychological Sciences, where she helps students achieve their academic and career aspirations. Dedicated to empowering others, she focuses on fostering resilience, navigating challenges, and promoting well-being.
Emma brings valuable experience through internships that highlight her ability to provide personalized counseling and guidance. As an Outpatient Social Work Intern at the Community Child Guidance Clinic, she worked with children and adolescents, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating closely with families and community partners.
Her role as a School Social Work Intern at Windham Middle School further strengthened her expertise, including providing individual and group counseling for students facing emotional and social challenges.
In her free time, Emma enjoys spending time with her cat, Penelope, listening to music, hiking, skiing, and baking sweet treats to share with loved ones.
