Join the State of Connecticut, Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS), Office of the Commissioner as a Behavioral Health Program Manager. In this role, you will support the Division of Forensic Services by working collaboratively with multi-agency partners and state-operated agencies. Conduct site visits with assigned division staff.
Job Duties Include, but not limited to
- Assists in directing staff and operations for special programs
- Coordinates, plans and manages program activities
- Assists in formulating policy and procedures relating to general administration of a managed service system
- Participates in the formulation of agency policy
- Develops, implements and evaluates the goals and objectives consistent with agency mission and policy
- Interprets and administers laws pertaining to program
- Trains and evaluates staff
- Prepares and administers facility and community grant budgets
