The Social Sciences Department has an opening for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Psychology in the undergraduate psychology program starting in the 2026-2027 academic year.
Job Duties Include, but not limited to
- Teach 3 courses in Fall and Spring semesters (6 courses per academic year) in clinical and/or counseling psychology, research methods sequence, and other areas as identified by the program.
 
- Serve as a link to Chatham’s graduate counseling psychology program (MSCP) through maintaining close relationships with the graduate program faculty and serving as an advisor to undergraduate students interested in careers in counseling or enrolled in our integrated degree program (IDP).
 
- Develop and implement a research agenda which results in peer-reviewed scholarly publications and presentations.
 
- Actively engage in program/department service, including but not limited to academic advising; program/department meetings; student recruitment/engagement events; supervising internships; program/department assessment; and other tasks identified by department chair.
