The State of Connecticut, Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS) is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervising Psychologist 1 (Clinical) to join our Young Adult Services (YAS) team.
Job Duties Include, but not limited to
- Work with a multi-disciplinary treatment team providing recovery oriented, age and developmentally appropriate clinical services to young adults with clinically complex and high-risk behaviors including developmental, psychosexual and trauma histories
- Be responsible for developing and implementing behavioral support plans and training to direct care staff
- Provide individual, group and family therapy when needed
- Utilize DMHAS initiatives in the provision of treatment, i.e., Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Integrated Dual Disorder Treatment (IDDT), Attachment Regulation Competency (ARC), Trauma Treatment, Person Centered Planning, etc
- Participate in case conferences, critical incident reviews, trainings, staff meetings and supervision
