The laboratory of Eric Lang in the Neuroscience and Physiology Department and Neuroscience Institute at New York University is hiring a Post-Doctoral Researcher to be involved in a five-year BRAIN Initiative NIH funded project. The overall goals of the project are to investigate (1) how imposed electric fields alter cerebellar cortical and nuclear activity, and (2) the effect of such changes on learning and perception. Methods in behavioral neuroscience, optogenetics, and extracellular multichannel recording in anesthetized and behaving animals will be used. Experience in working with rodents, intracranial surgery, and electrophysiology is preferred. Some programming knowledge is also a plus.
